Please Support the World Mission Sunday Collection This Weekend
This year marks the 100th anniversary of Pope Pius XI’s creation of World Mission Sunday enabling Catholics to unite in a worldwide mission! Your generosity today supports the Church’s missions in more than 1,130 territories where the Gospel is being proclaimed for the first time, as well as in places where the Church barely exists, or is too young, too persecuted, or too poor to sustain herself. Thank you for answering Pope Leo’s call to help him help missionaries everywhere!
Envelopes will be available in the narthex or in the monthly envelope packet mailed to your home. Thank you for responding with faith, love, and generosity!

Are You Thinking It’s Time to Retreat?
Is the Spirit telling you it is time to retreat, to recharge your spiritual batteries, to spend some quality time with Jesus?
You may have heard about retreats at St. Paul of the Cross Retreat Center.
This year’s topic is Love Is Ingenious—the inventive, healing, life-giving love of God. “This retreat invites us to rediscover the ingenuity of love in the struggles we face today – our relationships, losses, divisions, loneliness; within ourselves, our families, church and world. Rooted in the Passionist charism and the wisdom of St. Paul of the Cross, we will explore how God’s love never runs out of imagination and how we too, are called to become signs of that inventive, healing, life-giving love.”
If you would like to join a group of men or women from our parish, you may register for the women's retreat on December 4th-6th (Women’s Weekend #12), the men's retreat on January 15th-17th (Men's Weekend #15) or alternate weekends are available if these dates do not work for you.
Sherry Kelley and Deb Johnston are the co-captains for St. Andrew parish women attending retreats. Steve Elmore is the captain for the men attending from St. Andrew. If you have questions, please contact us or go online to the St. Paul of the Cross Retreat Center, www.stpaulretreat.org. When you register online, be sure to indicate you are from St. Andrew Parish, Saline. We arrange for carpools to the Retreat Center in Redford; please contact us.
